Action Combat
Skill-based telegraph combat where positioning and timing are everything.
The Telegraph System
Every ability in WildStar displays a visual telegraph on the ground, showing exactly where it will hit. This applies to both player abilities and enemy attacks.
- ▸ Blue telegraphs are friendly abilities - stand in them for heals and buffs
- ▸ Orange telegraphs show your own attacks - aim them at enemies
- ▸ Red telegraphs are enemy attacks - dodge out of them!
Active Dodging
Double Tap
Double-tap a movement key to perform a quick dash in that direction, letting you dodge through attacks.
Dash Tokens
You have a limited number of dash tokens that regenerate over time. Manage them wisely in combat!
I-Frames
During a dash, you're briefly invulnerable. Time your dodges to avoid even the most devastating attacks.
Limited Action Set
While each class has dozens of abilities, you can only equip 8 at a time on your Limited Action Set (LAS). This creates meaningful choices about your build.
- ▸ 8 ability slots to customize
- ▸ Ability tier upgrades with AMP points
- ▸ Swap loadouts between encounters
- ▸ No rotation - react to situations
Interrupt Armor
Many enemies have Interrupt Armor - a shield that must be broken before they can be stunned or interrupted. Coordinate with your team to break IA and stop deadly attacks!
Normal mobs - interrupt freely
Elites - coordinate interrupts
Bosses - team effort required
