What has been built, what has been tested, and what we are still guessing.

Development

Every class and faction now reaches level 15

Automated test characters have now played all six classes through both the Exile and the Dominion starting routes to level 15: twelve routes, and a confirming run for each. They take the quests a player would, fight with the gear the game gives them, and are held to the same rules, so a pass means the route can be played, not that it is easy.

Release 1.0 is not called yet. The Testing status page lists what has and has not been tested, platform by platform, and what is left.

Fixes

Quests you could not finish, and combat fixes

These now work: They're Back! and The New Plague, Learning to Shop, Unlikely Heroes (the Roll Call Sheet now counts each recruit), the Augmentation Chamber step of Making Contact, the fight with Pyrius Octavian in The Face of Justice for Dominion players, and the transport portals of the Fragment Zero and Steady Traveler expeditions.

In combat, a cone attack such as a Stalker's Shred now hits an enemy standing against you, creatures strike only players who can be seen, and ground-targeted spells and missiles land where and when they should. The game also tells you why a quest cannot be accepted or handed in, and /c why quest explains a quest step by step.

Fixes without kicking you out of the game

Most fixes now reach a running server while everyone stays connected: the server loads the changed code in place, and players keep their characters, zones and creatures exactly as they were. A change that touches game data, the database, settings or the structure of the running server still needs a short restart, and we say which is which.

Four adventures and nine world bosses

Crimelords of Whitevale, the Hycrest Insurrection, the Malgrave Trail and the Siege of Tempest Refuge are now playable, with their votes, branches, bosses and medals. Eight world bosses (Metal Maw, Metal Maw Prime, Scorchwing, Dreamspore, Gargantua, Grendelus, King Honeygrave and Mechathorn) have their documented mechanics, alongside Kraggar.

Where no source survives, timings and numbers are our best estimate and are labelled as such. If you remember how a fight went, we would love to hear from you.

The Workshop: how Bezgelor is built and tested

The new Workshop section shows what we know, what we guessed, and how we check it. The fidelity map rates every system and zone on one scale, from playable to checked against retail evidence, and says what each needs next. The WildStar delta lists every place we differ from the original game, and the test reports are published in full.

Where things stand

Automated test characters of all six classes play the Exile route through Algoroc and Celestion towards level 15, and that is the part of the game we have tested most. Dungeons from Stormtalon's Lair to Ultimate Protogames, the Genetic Archives and Datascape raids, expeditions, battlegrounds and the Slaughterdome arena are built to the levels shown in the Workshop.

Not yet tested: the Dominion starting areas, zones beyond level 15, and class abilities from level 16 to 50. Vendor stock and drop tables are still largely our own design. Found something wrong in game? Type /c bug in chat to report it ( how it works ).

Welcome to Bezgelor!

The Bezgelor website and portal are live. Bezgelor is a community server that grows out of WildStar's surviving data and players' memories: as close to the original as the evidence allows, labelled where it differs, and built to be played together.
