What changed in Bezgelor and in the Field Kit add-on, release by release, newest first. A release's
server changes and its Field Kit changes are listed separately. The Field Kit's News tab and the
/c news command in the game show the latest of these.
2026-10-27: Chambers below the terrain count for their quest steps
Server
- A quest step that sends your character into a chamber beneath the terrain, such as the Augmentation Chamber of "Making Contact", now counts when your character walks in, so the quest can go on.
2026-10-26: Chat commands stand out on the website
Server
- On the website, commands you type in the game's chat, such as /c bug or /fk, now show with a chat icon and a dotted underline, so they are not mistaken for web addresses.
- The community section of the website has a new Engineering notes page with short, dated results from the project's engineering and testing work.
- The tester commands /c quest prep and /c quest setup with prep now complete only earlier quests your character's race, class and faction could have done, so a Cassian is no longer given a quest only Mechari can take.
- A cone attack, such as a Stalker's Shred, now hits an enemy that stands against your character, as it hits one a step away.
- Clicking the transport portals of the Fragment Zero and Steady Traveler expeditions now takes your character through, so their quests can be completed.
- "Loftite" Pike in Algoroc's Demonclaw Pass now gives Mining Opportunity while the Pikefall Expedition runs: standing beside him no longer makes your character part of the event.
2026-10-25: Store offers, a new server name, and the Linux client
Server
- On the testing server the store has a Play to Win section of novelty offers at nominal prices, and testers can give themselves coins with /c store coins.
- The Field Kit download page shows the add-on's checksum, and the server limits floods of requests and error reports from the add-on.
- The testing server is now called Arboria in the server list.
- The WildStar client runs on Linux through Proton. An installer script sets it up and a doctor command checks the setup. Linux is in testing: it has been tested on Arch Linux with Intel graphics.
- The in-game store lists its offers again, including the Featured Items page: they were sent in one message too big for the game client, so every category showed empty.
- The download page has install steps for Windows, Linux, Steam Deck and Mac, each labelled Supported, In testing or Untested.
- The Steam Deck and Mac guides open with numbered setup steps, followed by troubleshooting and a checklist for test reports.
- A bag can be swapped for one with fewer slots in its bag slot as long as the items in the bags still fit in the remaining slots.
- In the Combat Training Room the Holo-Assailant dummies can be hit and taunted by players of both factions, so the Support Training tanking objectives can be finished from either side.
- The community section has a Testing status page: what has and has not been tested for release 1.0, the state of each platform, and how to help test.
- After the confrontation in The Face of Justice, Pyrius Octavian stays in view of Dominion players, so they can fight him and finish the quest.
- The game now tells you why a quest cannot be accepted or handed in, and what is still left to do.
2026-10-24: Three quests you could not finish
Server
- They're Back! is ready to hand in as soon as you take it, and Finish Him! follows. If you already have it, it finishes with your next quest step.
- In The New Plague, curing the last prisoner completes the quest, and Taking Ehlsa Alive follows.
- In Learning to Shop, taking the Smart Shopper title from your account inventory to your character completes the quest.
- In the Tradeskill Hub's first gathering missions, equipping your new pickaxe, chainsaw or relic blaster now completes the Equip step, even if you equipped it before taking the mission, so the mission can be handed in.
- A quest you took with full bags and never got its quest item for, such as the grenades of Fiery Vengeance or the railgun of Up, Up, and Away, now gives you that item as soon as you make room in your bags or move to another zone.
- In By Leaps and Bounds, Shoveljaw Boulderbacks and Crushers drop Pure Loftite Fragments too, as well as the loftite crystals you jump through.
- Health comes back out of combat again near creatures that cannot reach you: a creature that is stuck and cannot reach you lets go after 10 seconds and goes home. One that is chasing you keeps chasing.
Field Kit 1.1.12
- Report rows show what you wrote in full, wrapped at word breaks, instead of cut into lines of the wrong length.
- The News tab shows only the release notes. The fixes you helped with are checked in My reports, under Report a bug.
- News release notes and the report rows no longer fail with a Config.lua error when they draw.
2026-10-23: Field Kit connects, release notes on the News tab
Server
- Walk-in portal pads go off when you reach their centre, not when you touch their edge.
- A ban disconnects a banned player from every instance they are on.
- Switching realms stores your session key correctly, and character select checks that you are on the realm you chose.
- A melee flyer comes down to its target, and a swing needs level ground.
- An emote aimed at a unit credits the quest objectives that name that unit.
- Accepting a quest is refused, with a reason, when the items it would give you do not fit in your bags.
- Quest items leave you when you abandon the quest, and starter items drop only for a character who can take that quest.
- /c news shows the release notes and the fixes you helped with, for everyone.
- In The Face of Justice, Pyrius Octavian turns on you once you confront him, so you can bring him to justice.
- In Blinding Light, leaving the Recombination Chamber completes its step.
- The realm list and /c help say which server you are on, for example Bezgelor - Testing, and mail about your bug report names the server you reported it on.
- On the testing server every player has the tester tools for their own character: quest setup, teleport to a quest, level, revive and killing the creature they target.
Field Kit 1.1.9
- Release notes are cards: the date and title, then what the server changed and what the Field Kit changed, each as a list. A card grows to fit its words.
- The News tab opens first, with the release notes above the fixes you helped with.
- The Field Kit connects to the server in the game.
- The Welcome window choices are one group, and the one you pick is kept.
- Settings has a Welcome window choice: always, only when a daily reward is waiting, or never.
- A request shows a loading line while it waits. A long wait for the game's send budget says how long.
- Report rows say what you wrote, the target or category, the date filed, and the report number in the tooltip.
2026-10-22: Escorts and tours, combat fixes, and the Field Kit
Server
- A creature attacks only a player whose game shows it and whom it can see, so nothing strikes you from beyond the view.
- A targeted hit misses when terrain covers the line to its target as the hit lands.
- A hit lands when the caster's swing connects.
- Escort and tour objectives work: an escort walks its route, and boarding a quest vehicle counts for the objective its route belongs to.
- Area spells take their target limit from the game data, so Mending Probes heal yourself and up to four allies.
- Friendly To All creatures that no quest asks you to kill stay at peace.
- Heals over time heal friendly creatures, and a square area reaches the units on its corner lines.
- /c why quest explains a quest step by step, with its units and where they are; /c known lists the known issues.
Field Kit 1.0.1
- The Field Kit, our add-on for testing and bug reports, is on the download page with its guides.
- The Field Kit joins its channel to the server even when the game's windows load late, and reports its own errors to the server as bug reports.
- Why, known issues and fixes to check appear in the add-on and in the quest tracker.
- Right-click a quest on the Quests page for the tracker's menu entries.
- Tooltips appear at the cursor, not over the chat window.
- One status line at the top, every tab explained, and the Tester tab waits until the server answers.
2026-10-21: Portals, death, loot and spells
Server
- Walk into the training teleporters and other portals the game shows no click for; they take you in.
- A quest vehicle with a route flies it as a taxi flight, and no longer waits at the landing.
- A dead player lies as a corpse where they fell, and a player who arrives later sees the corpse lying down.
- A quest turn-in that your bags cannot hold is refused, and the reward is not mailed to you.
- Loot, credits, experience and quest progress reach you first and are saved behind, so a slow disk no longer delays your loot.
- A missile hits when it arrives, and a ground-targeted spell goes off where you placed it.
- A cast-time spell pressed while you are still moving goes off instead of being cancelled.
- Creatures whose spells deal no damage strike with a weapon attack, so they hit back.
